About Nitte (Deemed to be University)

Nitte (Deemed-to-be University) has its roots in a group of Institutions established by the Nitte Education Trust. The Trust was established in 1979 by one of India's respected Statesman, Late Justice KS Hegde, Supreme Court Judge and Speaker of Lok Sabha, with the mission of empowering rural youth through quality education and healthcare. The Trust has established 36 institutions spread in three campuses at Nitte, Mangalore and Bangalore. About the Institute

Nitte Mahalinga Adyanthaya Memorial Institute of Technology (NMAMIT), an off-campus of Nitte (Deemed to be University), offers UG, PG and Doctoral programmes. It currently offers 10 UG programmes in engineering, 06 M.Tech programmes, MBA and MCA programmes. The Institute is ISO 9001:2015 certified. The Institute is ranked 138 in the NIRF ranking (Engineering Institutes)-2021, Govt. of India. Atal incubation centre supported by NITI AYYOG, Government of India is situated in the campus. About the Organizing Department

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, established in 1987, offers the undergraduate programme BE in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with an intake of 120. The BE program has been autonomous under VTU since 2007 and is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation. The department is a recognized research centre under VTU Belagavi, with ultramodern facilities in Power Electronics, Power Systems and Electric Vehicles. The department provides the opportunity for the researchers to work on cutting-edge technologies like converter design using GaN, SiC devices and the upcoming mobility systems like EV. The state-of-the-art Laboratories in Power Electronics, Control Systems, Power Systems and High Voltage & Relay cater to the requirements of all Electrical and Electronics Engineering students. About the Conference

''Advances in Renewable Energy & Electric Vehicles" (AREEV-2022), a Two-day International Conference as a part of the Multi-Conference "International Conference on Emerging Trends in Engineering" (ICETE- 2022), will be held on 22 and 23 December 2022. The Conference dedicates to driving innovation in every aspect of Electrical and Electronics Engineering by facilitating a platform for researchers, professionals, executives and practising engineers from various research & educational institutes and industries to exchange their ideas on the Conference's theme. It is planned to publish the peer reviewed and selected papers of conference as proceedings with Springer in their prestigious "Lecture Notes in Electrical Engineering" series (https://www.springer.com/series/7818). Selected papers from the conference will be published by Springer as a proceedings book volume. Springer will conduct quality checks on the accepted papers and only papers that pass these checks will be published. Springer Nature does not charge any money for publication of Non-Open Access content. Abstracts/extended abstracts and short papers (less than 4 pages) are not considered for publication.
